Five-Day 2nd Foundation Course on Cold-Chain
Centre of Excellence on Sustainable crop Post-harvest Management & Cold-Chain (CoE-SPMCC)

Introduction

CoE-SPMCC has developed a Foundation Course that aims to transfer knowledge of food cold chain basic concepts. This course is designed to provide participants with a solid and comprehensive understanding of fundamental concepts, skills, and knowledge within the food cold chain. The Foundation Course serves as a building block, preparing individuals for more advanced and specialized studies or practical applications.

We now invite applications for the 2nd Foundation Course scheduled from 4th to 8th August 2025.

Accommodation & Refreshments

Courses and training modules offered by CoE-SPMCC will focus on:

Accommodation & Refreshments

Daily Allowance: An amount of Rs. 1000/- per day per person has been fixed for trainees. Any charges exceeding Rs. 1,000/- per person per day shall be borne by the participant/trainee.

Accommodation: Farmers/trainees will be accommodated at Kisan Bhawan (Sector-14, Panchkula). Each room will accommodate two people including breakfast. If accommodation is not available due to exigencies, the trainee needs to arrange their own accommodation and an amount of Rs. 625/- shall be reimbursable.

Lunch: A working lunch shall be provided to all trainees during the training period.

Dinner: Trainees are expected to bear the cost of dinner.

Self-arranged Accommodation: Trainees who prefer to arrange their own accommodation may do so at a location of their choice.

Selection Criteria
  • All applications will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
  • Only 15 candidates will be selected for the training.
  • 30% of the seats will be reserved for female participants to ensure gender inclusion.
